Clan Symbol:
Clan Name:
Ishida Clan
Clan History:
Born out of necessity, the Ishida clan were a family of nomadic traders, journeying through the Sand, Volcano and Dust countries. The threat of bandits, wild animals, and nature itself forced some of the merchants to practice basic ninja arts in order to survive. Branches of the clan, first established by the goods they were trading, began to specialize in techniques, setting up the basis for the clan's traits. While the group continued to barter with local inhabitants of the continent, the clan's focus on military strength ultimately led to their decline among other merchants in the region.
The clan fought for a time with the founding clans of Sakyugakure, but eventually the caravan's merchants gave into the economic pressure of the Sunakage. However, as part of their peace agreement, the most skilled of the clan swore their support to the Sunakage, and became a welcomed addition to the village.
Clan Traits:
-Effect One: Elemental Mastery
Requirement: Ninjutsu as Primary Specialty
The Ishida clan have always had an emphasis on the mastery and perfection of elemental ninjutsu. In particular, certain branches of the family have rejected learning other specialties in order to become attune with other elemental styles. Users who exhibit this trait may sacrifice a secondary or tertiary specialty, and increase the maximum number of elements the shinobi can learn by one.
This trait may be selected a second time, so long as the user does not have Taijutsu, Weaponry, or Genjutsu as a specialty.
-Effect Two: Knowledge of Antidotes
During the nomadic period of the Ishida clan, the tribe relied on skilled healers in order to stay fit and healthy, especially when poisons were frequently encountered. Overtime, members of the clan began to learn from these medicinal focused men and women, and have found methods to enhance their medical techniques. When using a medical jutsu of C-Rank or higher, the user immediately cures all poisons affecting their target patient.
-Effect Three: Extrasensory Presence
A final branch of the clan, responsible for hunting in the darkest of nights and protecting of the family during the evening, became renowned for their skills in sensing threats. Their hearing is unparalleled among the rival clans of the village. Listening for even the faintest of sounds, the shinobi passively detects the presence of allies and enemies within a 30ft. radius.
Clan Bloodline:
Ishida Clan Bloodline
Joining Requirements:
Ishida clan members join either through birth (direct descendant), or marriage to a current clan member (non-direct descendant). Both groups are seen as equals within the clan, but only direct descendants may benefit from the clan's bloodline traits.
