Welcome to Ninja Odyssey, a Roleplaying Site modeled after the Naruto™ Series with an emphasis on Character Development, Storylines, and Social Roleplays. Unlike the majority of other Naruto™ sites currently available, we here at Ninja Odyssey believe that players should be rewarded for crafting an engaging Plot; whether they are alone or in a group of players.
To facilitate a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all players, we ask that you follow you a few rules of conduct while on our Forum:
I.
Do not Harass, Threaten, or otherwise create a hostile environment for other members either on the forum or in one of our social areas such as our official Discord Server. This includes, but is not limited to: Demeaning other members, Sharing or Posting inappropriate topics or messages, Stalking, et cetera. This rule extends to PMs on the Forum as well as through the aforementioned Discord platform and violating this rule will result in an immediate twenty-four hour ban from our social platforms on the first offence, a week-long ban from these areas on the second offence, and a site ban on the third offence.
II.
Do not copy material from other users without explicit consent, or otherwise plagiarize material for personal gain. This includes copying user's posts from another Forum to post as your own, or taking any material that they have created and copying it for yourself without significantly changing the original material to make an original work. Violation of this rule will result in any associated posts, topics, or threads being Voided and more serious or repeated infractions will result in Moderator/Administrator review to decide further punishments up to and including a site ban.
III.
Do not attempt to "God Mod" other players. In this context, "God Mod" means to manipulate another user's character without consent, or perform any actions that your character would be unable to do such as: Stating your character can fly, or breathe underwater, or other inhuman feats without a legitimate in-game reason for them to be able to do so.
Violations of this rule will result in an immediate void of the offending post and/or thread.
IV.
Do not "Meta-Game" against other Players, or use OOC (Out of Character) reasons to justify an IC (In Character) action: Examples of these behaviors would be using information that a Player has put into their post, or in another thread, in your own post without a justification for knowing this information In Character. The second half of this rule means that you cannot target characters belonging to a Player because you had an Out Of Character argument without a valid In Character reason for you to do so.
Violations of this rule will result in an immediate void of the offending post and/or thread and a potential ban for the offending party.
