A slightly wide face and narrow chin create the canvas for a large vulpine grin to stretch his cheeks and cause his orangish eyes to curl into a pair of crescents instantly recognizable as smiling. Expressive facial features are obscured by his bangs hanging down the center of his brow, and parting to each side separately from it, the crimson hair is combed haphazardly to the sides and back where it stops just above his shoulders covering his ears, jaw, and the sides and back of his neck. Sawada sports a medium build, with broad shoulders and long lanky arms and legs giving him a somewhat spindly appearance.
His attire when working his stall consists of a simple red gi revealing a bare chest along with a few stylish adornments and a pair of pants which stops just above his calves along with a pair of sandalwood geta, but when working out in the field he prefers to cover the lower half of his face with a long brown and purple striped scarf. Underneath his gi is a brown long-sleeved shirt which extends past his forearms to tuck into a pair of black bracers which stop just over his knuckles. His preferred footwear is a pair of shinguards and a pair of brown rustic boots to replace his geta.
